SEA THE DIFFERENCE WITH OCEAN THERAPY
Occupational therapy practitioners ask, "What matters to you?" not, "What's the matter with you?"
American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)
A BIT ABOUT OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
Occupational Therapy (OT) focuses on adapting a person's environment to fit their needs, rather than adapting the person to fit their environment. Occupational therapist can assist in recommendations for adaptive equipment, education, guidance, teaching family members and caregivers, and treatment. Occupational therapy can be a crucial part of the rehabilitation process. "Sea" how Ocean Therapy can help!
OCEAN THERAPY TEAM
Who We Are
KELLY BARLOW, OTR/L, CLT
Occupational Therapist, Owner
Kelly has a Bachelor in Science in Occupational Therapy from Barry University and graduated in 1995. She has almost thirty years of working in the therapy field and has a passion for helping others. Along with home health, Kelly has worked in hospitals, clinics, and takes private patients as well. When Kelly is not providing care to her patients, she is spending time with her family, and looking for a beach to relax by. Her main goal as a therapist is to give back and help people become as independent as possible with a sense of accomplishment and self-worth.
Adaptive Equipment Supervisor
Tom has over forty years of experience in construction and over thirty years in adaptive home installations. His passion is remodeling homes, building houses from the ground up, and working on projects where he can be creative. When Tom is not providing his services, he is spending time with his family, and looking for a fish to catch. His main goal is to provide quality service that meets (and exceeds) the needs of the patient, and family.
TRACY JENNINGS, MPA, MSHI
Tracy has been apart of the Ocean Therapy team for over ten years. She has a Masters in Public Administration and Master of Science in Health Informatics. Along with providing administrative support, she offers technological solutions to the team to help better serve our patients. When Tracy is not consulting the team, she is spending her time with her family and two dogs near the water. Her main goal is to find solutions that enhance the quality of care.
